Housing Solutions on Our Historic Campus

Our summer housing offers the best of both worlds: an academic environment on our historic campus, and easy access to New York City's most iconic landmarks via a short subway ride. Columbia Housing is open to summer groups beginning Memorial Day weekend through the first Saturday in August.

Flexible Housing Configurations for Your Group

Corridor-style is the traditional residence hall layout, with double and single rooms located along a main hallway. Residents share single-use or community bathrooms located on the floor. These facilities are accessible to anyone on the floor.

Apartment-style offers a private residential experience, with singles and doubles located in a private hallway. Apartment residents share common spaces and bathrooms only accessible to those living in the apartment.

Available Services for Your Group

Amenities

All residence halls feature free Wi-Fi access, air-conditioned rooms, 24-hour security guard service, and free laundry facilities. Communal spaces such as kitchens and lounges are generally available, but vary by location.

Room Furnishings

All residence hall bedrooms are equipped with a twin XL bed, desk and chair, closet or wardrobe, and chest of drawers. Private common areas such as kitchens and living rooms in suites or apartments may have a couch and/or dining table and chairs.

Towels and Linens

Program planners have the option to include bed linens and towels for participants to rent. Participants that opt for linens will find packaged linen sets with all bathing and bedding essentials on their beds.
